Dominic Chappellet
Owner, Board Member, Director of Technical Services
As the youngest son of Donn and Molly Chappellet, Dominic was born a year after the founding of Chappellet Vineyard & Winery. With Pritchard Hill as his playground, Dominic grew up exploring the land, looking for snakes and lizards, and helping out in the winery and vineyards. He also tasted wine at the family dinner table and pitched in during crush—experiences that enabled him to develop a keen palate and a strong understanding of the family business.
Currently working at Chappellet Winery, Dominic Chappellet has spent the last several years in the Napa Valley living on Pritchard Hill with his family and working for the family business in various capacities. He is most recently focused on a number of ongoing video projects and the constant photographic documentation of all aspects of the wine business and life on Pritchard Hill. Dominic can also be found giving tours at the winery and managing our organic employee garden. His activities outside the business focus on playing an active roll in the daily activities of his and his wife Amy's children.
