Petite Sirah was originally developed as a cross between the
Peloursin and Syrah grapes, in hopes of creating a grape
that would be less susceptible to disease and inclement
weather and to produce higher yields with darker color.
Our 2007 Napa Valley Petite Sirah was grown on the cool
Bald Mountain area of Mt. Veeder, 2000 feet above the
valley floor.
